Let's Make Nut Roll
Impress your friends and family with delicious nut roll to slice up for your holiday cookie tray or for gift-giving. While waiting for our dough to rise, we’ll make some easy stuffed mushrooms in Phyllo shells. You will leave the class with one nut roll, stuffed mushrooms for sampling, recipes, and the know how to bake these elegant holiday treats on your own. Bring a large mixing bowl, a medium mixing bowl for filling, a wooden mixing spoon, a kitchen towel, and a pastry mat. All ingredients are included in the fee. Let’s get baking!
Barbara Snow earned her grande diplome in both savory and pastry from the Zona Spray School of Cooking, now the Hudson-based Western Reserve Cooking School. She is a member of the adjunct faculty at Cuyahoga Community College and teaches at Williams-Sonoma in Beachwood a well as with Orange Community Education & Recreation. In addition to her culinary endeavors, she has been a correspondent for several area newspapers, including The Plain Dealer.
