This advanced studio course is designed to introduce and develop a diverse set of skills around this eclectic genre. In addition to studio work, lectures will introduce students to the nature and history of cartooning – with a specific focus on Cleveland’s influential cartooning professionals. By the end of this academic year, students who attend regularly will have produced a number of works – including a piece of Pop Art, a comic strip, a comic book/graphic novel, a zine and more. All supplies included.
