Future Scientists

Enjoy a program where children question, challenge, and examine their world with excitement and hands-on activities! Each class students experiment, analyze, predict, and make a project emphasizing the topic. Session one, The Science of Flight, will cover science tools, large landforms, air pressure, mighty oceans, and explore why we burp, hiccup and yawn. We will experiment with helicopters, airplanes and gliders! In session two, students will understand how trees are planted through nature and study the science of leaves in harvest time. We will learn the relationship between lenses and light, delve into animal organs, experiment with solids, liquids and gas in moving matter, see how balance and gravity help sturdy structures, and explore weather instruments in windy weather!
