Balance & Fall Prevention

Summer 2022
This balance and fall prevention class focuses on improving balance and weight transitions while walking. This is done through working to improve the way we keep ourselves balanced - visually, vestibular (inner ear) and somatosensory (responding to the information our brain receives from the environment around us). A variety of standing and walking exercises will make up the majority of this class. All equipment will be provided. Proficiency in our Strength & Balance class or instructor permission is required to attend this class. Must pre-register.
