Some of his recent credits include Clydes (Jason), Little Shop of Horrors (Orin Scrivello DDS), The Skin of our Teeth (Mr. Antrobus), Sweeney Todd (Adolfo

Pirelli), She Loves Me (Georg Nowack), and Blithe Spirit (Charles Condomine). As a designer, Jaren is known to design to be in the world the director is creating and to be visually or audibly unique for an audience member. Jaren cites inspiration from artists such as Jim Henson, Julie Taymor, and Tim Burton for their uniqueness and complexity when designing. Jaren is inspired by investing in youth theatre programming that focuses on design basics, and tech as well as acting. He believes that hands-on experience is the best way to teach and providing these experiences for youth creates lifelong artists.
