Character Design- Saturday Afternoon

Fine Art / Orange Art Center / Young Artists -
Spring/Summer 2024

New prompts! The best stories have memorable characters! In this class, young artists will learn to design iconic characters that tell engaging, fun stories through group exercises, presentations, and self-directed projects. Learn how to draw characters with personalities, draw expressions, use color to communicate moods, and more! By the end of the class, students will have individual projects that encapsulate their iconic characters and character narratives. Students' final projects are self-directed to encourage characters and stories reflecting each young artist's interests, skills, and creativity. New and returning students are welcome. All supplies provided.
