  • Orange Outdoor Pool Pass

    Buy an Outdoor pool pass. Our discounted pool passes are a great way for frequent swimmers and families to swim and save! Passes may be used for admission during any open swim session, preseason weekends: May 25-27 and June 1-2 and June 8 through August 11. Orange School District residents should bring proof of residency to receive the resident rate. Children ages 2 and younger are admitted for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Outdoor pool passes are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
  • Outdoor Pool Open Swim

    Welcome to Orange Outdoor Pool! General Pool Rules Children ages 2 and younger are free only when accompanied by a paying adult; please do not register children 2 and under. Children 12 years of age and younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older. Parents must remain within arms-length of all children 6 and under and non-swimmers of all ages. The outdoor pool will be closed in inclement weather. Refunds/transfers will be provided. Additional rules apply; please see posted rules at the facility. Lifeguards are present for your safety; please follow the instructions of lifeguards quickly. Patrons are welcome to bring outside food to the pool. Food and drink must stay in the pavilion area or one of the picnic tables. No glass containers, please.

    LEARN TO SWIM We believe every child should learn to swim. While fun and a great form of exercise, learning to swim can also keep your child safe in and around water. Following the standards of the American Red Cross, our Learn to Swim program is designed for children of all ages and abilities. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace in groups with low student to instructor ratios. Instructors will move swimmers to a different level if abilities require. Please check dates and times of classes carefully; we cannot change days/times and do not provide make -ups for missed classes. New spots are sometimes opened; if a class is full, please sign up on a waiting list and swimmers will be added to the class as space allows. Pre - registration is required; registration does not take place at the pool. Learn to Swim Beginner for Teens: Water Exploration & Stroke Readiness Class Ages: 12-17 Swimmers will increase their ability to do skills on their own, thus preparing them to learn strokes.

If a child is not toilet trained, then swim diapers MUST be worn. This class offers water adjustment skills using toys, games and songs. To advance to the next level, swimmers must be 3 years of age, comfortable in the water and able to go in the water with assistance.

Level 1: Water Exploration Ages 3 + Swimmers will practice putting their faces in the water and learn to float and swim on their own. Classes are individualized in order to encourage children to attempt new skills. To advance to the next level, swimmers must perform 10 bobs, sit dive with face in, front and back float unassisted and swim 5 feet unassisted.

Following the standards of the American Red Cross, our Learn to Swim program is designed for children of all ages and abilities. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace in groups with low student to instructor ratios. Instructors will move swimmers to a different level if abilities require. Level 2: Stroke Readiness Ages 4+ Swimmers will increase their ability to do skills on their own, thus preparing them to learn strokes. To advance to the next level, swimmers must perform a sit dive with a kick glide, beginner stroke with 5 breaths, sculling with flutter kick. Swimmers also must be able to swim out and change directions and jump in, recover and swim.
  • Learn to Swim Level 3: Stroke Readiness

    LEARN TO SWIM We believe every child should learn to swim. While fun and a great form of exercise, learning to swim can also keep your child safe in and around water. Following the standards of the American Red Cross, our Learn to Swim program is designed for children of all ages and abilities. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace in groups with low student to instructor ratios. Instructors will move swimmers to a different level if abilities require. Pre - registration is required; registration does not take place at the pool. Level 3: Stroke Readiness Ages 5 + Swimmers swim in deep water and learn strokes. Swimmers will be spaced out in the lap lanes and must be confident swimming alone in deep water as the instructor will be teaching from the deck while swimmers are in the water learning strokes. Children who are not strong enough swimmers will be removed from this class. To advance to the next level, swimmers must jump into deep water with recovery, swim front and back crawl for 15 yards, elementary backstroke, dolphin kick and be able to do a squat dive.
  • Learn to Swim Level 4: Stroke Development

    LEARN TO SWIM We believe every child should learn to swim. While fun and a great form of exercise, learning to swim can also keep your child safe in and around water. Level 4: Stroke Development Ages 6 + Swimmers begin swimming laps of the pool, improving strokes learned in level 3 and learn new strokes. To advance to the next level, swimmers must swim freestyle, backstroke, elementary backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke for 25 yards and be able to do a standing dive.
  • Private Pool Parties

    Having a birthday party or a family get together? Celebrate at our outdoor leisure pool! The pool is available June 14 - July 27 on Friday nights from 6:15 - 7:45 pm and Saturday mornings from 11:15 am - 12:45 pm, or Saturday evenings from 5:30 - 7:00 pm for events with less than 50 people. The pool is kid-friendly and includes a zero-depth water entrance and water play features. There is a large deck, picnic pavilion, and green space for use exclusively by your group during your rental period. Hosts are welcome to bring their own food, snacks, and nonalcoholic beverages. Reservations and full payment must be made at least 2 weeks in advance. Parties will be cancelled in inclement weather and rescheduled if possible, or fully refunded. Pool rules must be observed by all guests.
  • Adult Learn to Swim

    This program is for those who have little to no swimming ability. Here we will conquer any fear of the water with our small class size that will provide ample time to practice. We will encourage learning at an individual pace and focus on floating, swimming on front and back and treading water.

    Orange Community Swim Team: Stroke Clinic

    Join this fun extension of the Orange Community Swim Team where swimmers will get instruction on stroke technique and work on starts, turns, and finishes. The program will focus on stroke development, technique, diving from starting blocks, and swimming 25 yards lengths.
