Before & After Extended Care (Kindergarten-5)

Open Door Extended Care is a before and after school and camp activity-based program for students in grades K-5, focusing on social and recreational activities designed to provide children with a choice of developmentally appropriate activities. Our stimulating curriculum includes crafts, music, arts, sports and various recreational activities. A typical day allows for children to learn healthy social skills in a safe, welcome and relaxed environment. Members of the Youth Department's Open Door Extended Care team come from a variety of educational backgrounds to enhance the experience offered to your child. Their mission is to authentically engage students in a positive, supportive, nurturing and safe environment in order to develop critical thinking and civic minded citizens who will contribute to the local community and our global society.
