Orange Community Education & Recreation seeks to create and promote inclusion across all facilities, programs and classes that we offer. We offer a variety of programming for swimmers of all ages and skills including swim lessons, aquatic exercise, lap swim, lifeguard certification, swim team and swim club. Open Door Extended Care is a before and after school and camp activity-based program for students in grades K-5, focusing on social and recreational activities designed to provide children with a choice of developmentally appropriate activities. Orange Community Education & Recreation’s Orange Early Childhood Preschool is a public preschool licensed by the Ohio Department of Education. Our Early Childhood program includes a variety of educational, developmentally appropriate activities designed for young children. The Orange Art Center (OAC), a program of Orange Community Education and Recreation, offers year-round arts classes, programs and workshops for children, teens, and adults of all ages. OAC’s instructors are highly qualified, well-known practicing artists. The Orange Senior Center is the district's focal point for programs and services specific to individuals age 55 and over. The program provides opportunities for enrichment, education, socialization and companionship in a welcoming atmosphere. Orange Youth sports provides quality recreational sports programming for children in the greater Orange School District. Our goal is to provide fun, accessible, and positive youth sports experiences by emphasizing fundamentals and the spirit of the game. Stagecrafters Youth Theatre is a dramatic arts program which seeks to help each student realize a positive self-image through the practice and technique of theatre. Excitement is in the air this summer as Orange Community Education & Recreation presents a summer of fun featuring a wide variety of day camps, enrichment camps, art camps and sports camps for campers from toddlers to teens. Our trips and tours are designed for group adventure. From one day local trips to European multi-day travel, we look forward to our next big adventure and hope you'll join us!
