About Adaptive Family Programming

Orange Community Education & Recreation (OCER) seeks to create and promote integration across all facilities, programs and classes that we offer. We welcome all people of all ages and abilities to participate in any of our programs. Our goal is to ensure that all individuals have equitable access to the benefits of high-quality educational and recreational programs that foster social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth.

Our seasoned, dedicated staff are highly trained and licensed professionals that are skilled in their area of expertise, have extensive experience working with participants with special needs and demonstrate the ability to embrace the inclusive nature of our organization.

Another big component of our programs that set us apart is our encouragement and promotion of integrating those without disabilities to join in on all of our experiences. We are actively seeking children and adults that want to discover the value of playing and learning side by side.

Adaptive & Integrated Recreation Programs for Families aim to:

  • Create an environment in which families can build a sense of community with one another.
  • Meet each family's needs with care and concern.
  • Provide engaging and enjoyable opportunities for fun, learning and growth.
  • Promote self-confidence and growth through a positive recreational environment.
  • Create opportunities for everyone to experience recreation together.
