Illustration for Beginners - Thursday Evenings

Fall 2024

This class will introduce the fundamentals of visual storytelling and experiment with creative self-expression through traditional illustration. In this class, students will learn how to take their drawings to the next level by establishing a narrative to their work that conveys emotion and message. Numerous illustration categories will be explored such as picture books, editorials, portraiture, character design, and more! All skill levels are welcome; beginners are encouraged! A supply list is provided at the time of registration. No class October 3.

Victoria Bell

OAC Faculty


Tori Bell is a versatile art educator with a rich background in teaching art to students of all ages and skill levels. With a BFA from the University of New Mexico and an MFA from the University of Florida, Tori has developed a comprehensive understanding of various art forms and techniques. Her teaching repertoire includes digital and analog photography, fundamental and advanced drawing (landscape, figure, and anime), clay handbuilding, watercolor painting, Procreate animation, and more.
