Youth enrichment camps offer children the opportunity to explore new things from cooking to photography to music and more!
You can be a comic illustrator, too! In this fun class, young artists will learn the process of making a comic from script to finished story! Work on drawing characters and backgrounds while learning the illustrative process of penciling, inking, and coloring! In addition, the class will explore real legendary comic artists and explore the various styles of cartooning. All supplies provided.
Emilio Marriott is a Cleveland based artist with a BFA in Studio Art from Kent State University. Growing up consuming a lot of comic books, cartoons and surreal artwork, Emilio’s work is typically takes the form of large scale oil pastel drawings, done in a distinctly messy and vibrant style, reflecting both his sense of humor and eye for detail. Currently, Emilio teaches a variety of young artist classes at OAC for grades K-8.
