Discover the exciting world of mixed media art! Instructor, Jackie Palumbo, will guide you through a variety of techniques that combine different materials and processes, encouraging you to experiment and express your unique artistic voice. You will also experiment with various application techniques. Supplies provided.
Jackie is an artist who absolutely loves sharing her love of art with others! Jackie teaches preschoolers to senior citizens through classes, art clubs, and summer camps. Her goal for each class is to provide a fun, comfortable, encouraging environment and to get each student to express themselves creatively and think "outside the box".
While fused glass is her main focus for art shows, Jackie really enjoys creating mixed media art! Combining different elements and breathing new life into old things is so fun! Additionally, she is also a Licensed Ohio Substitute Teacher, a Certified Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor, has a B.A. in Interpersonal and Organizational Communications, avid volunteer for our veterans and troops, a wife, and mom of 2 boys.
