Mason Stain Marbled Clay Workshop

Fine Art / Orange Art Center / Ceramics -
Winter 2025

In this one-day workshop, students will explore the use of mason stains to marble clay. After choosing your clay and colors, you'll create a slab form or use a mold to craft bowls, plates, or an original hand-built piece with the marbled clay. The pieces will be bisque fired and glazed with clear to intensify the beautiful stain colors on the clay body. No prior clay experience is needed—just bring your creativity and get ready to have fun! All materials are provided. (Student will need to make arrangements to pick up finished fired pieces three-six weeks after workshop and will be emailed when ready.)
