Youth enrichment camps offer children the opportunity to explore new things from cooking to photography to music and more!
In this workshop, you'll create two unique styles of berry bowls. Using a variety of templates, you'll have the opportunity to imprint or carve designs into your bowls before constructing them. Personalize your pieces further by adding handles, feet, or decorative elements. Once completed, you'll choose from a range of celadon glaze colors, and your instructor will glaze your bowls after bisque firing. No prior clay experience is needed—just bring your creativity! All materials are provided.
Ami Kamerer graduated from Cleveland State, with a degree in Art Education, and a concentration in Ceramics.She has taught K-12 public education for the last 10 years. She has taken continuing education/masters classes in drawing, painting, and ceramics.In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her dog Lucy, and going on hikes. She loves creating art in many different mediums, and spending time with family.
