Youth enrichment camps offer children the opportunity to explore new things from cooking to photography to music and more!
Bring your child to the ceramics studio at OAC for a fun, hands-on open workshop! This class is intended for one adult and one child to work together. In this one-day session, parents and children will create an original hand-built clay piece using pinch, coil, or slab techniques. No prior clay experience is needed—just come ready to learn and make memories. All materials are provided. (Families will need to make arrangements to pick up finished fired pieces three-six weeks after workshop and will be emailed when ready.)
Ami Kamerer graduated from Cleveland State, with a degree in Art Education, and a concentration in Ceramics.She has taught K-12 public education for the last 10 years. She has taken continuing education/masters classes in drawing, painting, and ceramics.In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors with her dog Lucy, and going on hikes. She loves creating art in many different mediums, and spending time with family.
