Youth enrichment camps offer children the opportunity to explore new things from cooking to photography to music and more!
Design your own unique ceramic paint palette in this creative and functional workshop! You’ll shape and personalize your palette using hand-building techniques, ensuring it suits your artistic style. Your piece will be glazed and fired, and students will need to make arrangements to pick it up 2–3 weeks after the workshop. Perfect for artists of all levels, all materials are provided!
CJ Ritenour is a Canton-based ceramic artist with over six years of experience. After taking their first ceramics class, they fell in love with pottery and are constantly pursuing growth and trying new techniques. In their small business, they favor functional pottery, specializing in mugs and custom surface design. CJ also teaches regular classes at two different museums, the Canton Museum of Art and the Massillon Museum, and serves as the Vice President of the Canton Ceramic Guild. Since they began teaching, it has sparked a new passion—not only to teach the fundamentals but also to push students to explore their own style and find their own voice.
