Youth enrichment camps offer children the opportunity to explore new things from cooking to photography to music and more!
Learning to draw begins with learning to see the world as an artist. In this introductory drawing class, foundational lessons in contour drawing, positive/negative space, texture, perspective, shading, and more are delivered in a supportive, anxiety-free environment. Instructor and artist Annie Peters uses her lifetime of acquired skills as both fine artist and teacher to create a nurturing classroom environment designed to help you connect with and foster your inner artist in order to overcome the fear of the blank page. Enroll in additional sessions to further improve your skills. A supply list is provided at the time of registration.
Annie has taught art at Grand Valley High School in Orwell, OH for more than 40 years. While there she was awarded Teacher of the Year three times, and the Ruritans Outstanding Teacher Award. Peters has also exhibited her work in museums, including the Cleveland Museum of Art and the Southern Ohio Museum, as well as national and regional shows.
