Personal Safety Seminar

Adaptive Recreation / Adaptive Recreation for Teens & Adults -
Fall 2025

Join us for a supportive Personal Safety Class, led by local police officers and adapted for all learning levels. This interactive class covers important topics like internet safety, public space awareness, self-advocacy, and more. Using visual aids, role-playing, and open discussion, our goal is to help participants feel confident, informed, and safe in everyday situations. Caregivers and support staff are welcome to attend.

We will be discussing topics that may be difficult to talk about. Our goal in these conversations is to educate participants on how to keep themselves physically and emotionally safe in all aspects. If you have any questions or concerns about the topics discussed in the course please reach out to Reilly (rford@orangecsd.org). Do you have a topic you want covered in class? Use the attached google form to let us know. No class on 11/25.
