Orange Community Education & Recreation’s Orange Early Childhood Preschool is a public preschool licensed by the Ohio Department of Education and holds a current accreditation through NAEYC - The National Association for the Education of Young Children.

The Orange Art Center (OAC) is a division of Orange Community Education & Recreation. OAC is located on the Orange Schools campus and has a 40-year history of offering fine art classes to adults and K-12 young artists.
Lions Club Extended Care is a before and after school and camp activity-based program for students in grades K-5, focusing on social and recreational activities designed to provide children with a choice of developmentally appropriate activities.
The Orange Senior Center is the district's focal point for programs and services specific to individuals age 55 and over. The program provides opportunities for enrichment, education, socialization and companionship in a welcoming atmosphere.

Youth enrichment camps offer children the opportunity to explore new things from cooking to photography to music and more!
Join us for a hands-on acrylic painting workshop where you'll learn and apply techniques to create your own unique abstract artwork. Together, we'll explore glazing, stippling, dry brush, and outlining. Guided step by step, you'll complete an abstract painting from start to finish. Whether you're a beginner or looking to expand your skills, you'll leave with a deeper understanding of acrylics and a painting you'll be proud to display. All skill levels welcome. A supplies provided.
Marlene was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in New Jersey. For the last few decades she has called the ‘north coast’ her home. She lives in Beachwood, Ohio with her husband, James Newman. Marlene retired from a 30 year health care career in 2012 and completed a BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Akron’s Myers School of Art in 2016.
