NEW! Introduction to Color Theory and Color Schemes Painting Workshop

Fine Art / Orange Art Center / Painting -
Fall 2025

In this workshop, we'll dive into the basics of color theory and learn how to use color schemes to make your artwork more dynamic while using acrylic paints. Through guided instruction, you'll explore primary, secondary, and tertiary colors; warm versus cool tones; and complementary, analogous, and monochromatic schemes. You'll then apply this knowledge to create a painting that incorporates four distinct color schemes with acrylic paint. This is a fun way to see how color choices can transform your work. Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike. All supplies provided.
