Eco Explorers: STEAM IN NATURE- Arctic Adventure

Youth Recreation & Discovery / Eco Explorers -
Winter 2026

Journey with us to the top of the world! Together we’ll learn more about the Arctic including its unique environment, wildlife, and culture. Students will construct a mini igloo, test what makes ice melt, and create unique art inspired by the glowing colors of the Aurora Borealis. This series blends science, creativity, and imagination for an Arctic adventure like no other!

Hello, my name is Kelly Dibble Kerner and I'm excited to be hosting "STEAM in Nature" for the Eco Explorers this fall! This series is one of my favorites because it sparks curiosity in nature while students experiment and create unique pieces of art. I'm a K-12 certified teacher and love to incorporate all kinds of fun hands-on activities to spark joy in learning. I look forward to our series starting on Wednesday, September 10th and can't wait to meet the students!
