NEW! Foundations of Oil Painting - Thursday Mornings

Learn how to work with oil paint through direct instruction in materials, color theory, visual concepts, and brushwork. This class is designed for beginners and those with some experience who want to revisit core techniques. Sessions include demonstrations, painting time, and individual feedback to help you build confidence and control in the medium. A supply list will be emailed at the time of registration. Approximate supply cost, depending on materials already owned: $90.

Amy Gibson

OAC Faculty

Amy Gibson, b. 1976 in Alliance Ohio. Amy received her B.F.A from the University of Akron in 1999. She currently teaches at Orange Art Center, Cuyahoga Valley Art Center in Cuyahoga Falls Ohio and Cameron Art Museum in Wilmington NC. Ten of her works are archived for the moon as part of the Lunar Codex Project. Her artwork has been featured in Fine Art Connoisseur and American Art Collector Magazine. She has shown in PTFN at the Wausau Museum of Contemporary Art, Teaching Artists at the Cameron Museum of Art, and her work is Internationally collected. She loves teaching and helping people reach their goals.
