The Adult Recreation & Discovery departments offers a comprehensive array of classes and workshops for adults of all ages in the areas of artistry, craftsmanship and design, cooking, career development, health, fitness and wellness, language, travel, technology, adult sports and more. Classes are offered in the traditional classroom setting and online.

  • Stroller Strides

    Stroller Strides is a functional, total-body conditioning workout designed for moms with kids in tow. Each 60-minute workout consists of strength training, cardio, and core restoration, all while entertaining little ones with songs, activities, and fun! Each Stroller Strides instructor is skilled to meet you where you are mentally and physically. You’ll leave class feeling connected, successful, and energized! This class is all about self-care in a supportive and encouraging environment. Participants will register with Orange Community Ed and Rec then follow a link to pay through Fit4Mom.
  • Pound Fitness

    Channel your inner rockstar with this full body cardio-jam session inspired by the infectious, energizing, and sweat-dripping fun of playing the drums. Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Designed for all fitness levels, POUND® provides the perfect atmosphere for letting loose, getting energized, toning up and rockin’ out! The workout is easily modifiable and the alternative vibe and welcoming philosophy appeals to rockstars of all ages and abilities. Each session is a drop in and you will have until 4pm the day before to register. If we do not have enough signed up to run the class we will notify you all and refund you by 10am the morning of.
