The Adult Recreation & Discovery departments offers a comprehensive array of classes and workshops for adults of all ages in the areas of artistry, craftsmanship and design, cooking, career development, health, fitness and wellness, language, travel, technology, adult sports and more. Classes are offered in the traditional classroom setting and online.

  • Anastasia the Musical at Rabbit Run Theater

    Start your holiday weekend off early with dinner at Grand River Cellars and enjoy the Tony Award winning Anastasia the Musical, a dazzling show transporting you from the twilight of the Russian Empire to the euphoria of Paris in the 1920’s, as a brave, young woman sets out to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by a Soviet officer Anya enlists the aid of a dashing con-man and a lovable ex-aristocrat. Together they embark on an epic adventure to help her find home, love and family. Your registration fee includes school transportation, a Half Chicken Dinner at Grand River Cellars, and theater ticket. Registrations and refund requests are due by June 1. Board the bus at 3:30 pm in the Pepper Pike Learning Center parking lot.
  • Calendar Girls at Rabbit Run Theater

    Savor a delicious Pollo Romano dinner at Ferrante’s Winery & Ristorante before heading to the Rabbit Run Theater production of Calendar Girls! Based on the true story of 11 older women who posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukemia Research Fund, Calendar Girls has since become the fastest-selling play in British theatre history. This production is the non-musical version. Your registration fee includes school transportation, dinner, and theater ticket. Registrations and requests for refunds are due by July 1. Board bus in the Pepper Pike Learning Center parking lot at 3:30 pm.
