Aiming to establish vertical integration of programs from varsity to youth athletics. Travel sports often do not require extensive travel, but may include extended weekend participation.     OCER Recreation Sports Leagues and Teams OCER provides elementary-aged and early middle school students with opportunities to participate in a variety of recreation-level sports. These leagues and teams are generally coached by parent volunteers with a focus on fair and equitable team participation. Athletes and parents can expect an atmosphere where everyone learns and everyone plays with moderate levels of competition Lions Winter Youth Cheer Team Following our successful Fall Cheer club, we are excited to once again offer this opportunity to our aspiring cheerleaders this winter as well. Participants will learn the basic skills and techniques for what it takes to be an Orange Lions cheerleader. During this cheer club participants will get the opportunity to cheer at our very popular Youth Night, at an Orange High School basketball game, which will take place January 31, as well as at an OHS girls basketball game which will take place February 5.   • Orange Community Night With the Cleveland Monsters

    Have you ever experienced a Cleveland hockey game before? Come join our Orange Community to experience the fun, fast paced action of the Lake Erie Monsters with friends from your community like you never have before. Tickets will include access to the Caesars Rewards Club. This club is located on the main concourse and includes an all you can eat rotating food menu, beer, wine, and soda. Tickets are limited, so register early. Registration will close on January 4th. Tickets will be delivered via SeatGeek. If you do not have an account go to www.seatgeek.com to create one. Boys Lacrosse Team Our youth lacrosse team will compete in the Ohio North Coast Youth Lacrosse Association, against teams in the neighboring communities. Players are required to purchase or rent their own equipment (incl. helmet, stick, pads) prior to play. Jerseys, fees will be provided. Practices will be 3 times a week including Saturdays. Practices and game times will vary based on field availability and season scheduling. Practices will begin on Saturday, March 1st, and the complete practice schedule will be released prior to the season start. Games will be scheduled for April and May.

Girls Lacrosse Team Over the past several lacrosse seasons, we have offered lacrosse experiences with our girls in the community including Saturday clinics, after-school programs, and access to our varsity and middle school lacrosse programs. We are hoping to translate those programs into a competitive opportunity for our youth lacrosse players. We would form a team that competes Ohio North Coast Youth Lacrosse Association against teams in the neighboring communities. Jerseys and some equipment will be provided Practices will be twice a week including weekend times that will vary based on facility availability and season scheduling. Team practices will begin in early March. games will be scheduled for April and May. The season will last through Memorial Day Weekend. We are seeking volunteer coaches who want to help push this program forward

    Get ready to join your community while cheering on our town’s favorite team, the Cleveland Cavaliers! Join us for Orange Community night at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse on March 2nd, for their 3:30pm game against the Portland Trail Blazers. This will be a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon out with the Family and the Orange community. Registration will close on February 2nd. Please register each member of the family so we can keep an accurate count! Tickets are limited, so register early. The first 40 5th grade and up kids and adults will have the opportunity to hold the flag on the court during the National Anthem. (Additional details will follow). However, all dates and details are tentative and certainly subject to change. More information will be available in the Spring Brochure arriving in March.** Spring Flag Football League Grades 5 - 6 Get ready for an action-packed 5 weeks of fun and competitive games in our Flag Football League! This program is designed for 5th and 6th graders who want to continue to learn and improve their skills in the exciting game of flag football while competing. This league will be run “in-house” with all games being against other participants signed up with us in Orange. Jerseys are provided for each player. Practices will be run by volunteer coaches and held on Tuesday evenings, time TBD. Games will be held on Sundays.

    OCER Recreation Sports Leagues and Teams OCER provides elementary-aged and early middle school students with opportunities to participate in a variety of recreation-level sports. These leagues and teams are generally coached by parent volunteers with a focus on fair and equitable team participation. Athletes and parents can expect an atmosphere where everyone learns and everyone plays with moderate levels of competition. **Registration for spring soccer, flag football, and baseball/softball programs will open for residents on December 2nd and nonresidents on December 5th.     Skill Development Programs OCER intends to provide opportunities for youth athletes to improve their skill level in their sports of choice through programming with professional coaches and vendors. When participating in these programs, participants should expect an outcome of; skill development and ability improvements throughout its duration. There should be no competitive expectation. Girls Lacrosse Clinic Coach Carolyn is returning this spring to build our strong girl's lacrosse program. We are seeking participants who want to learn and discover what the sport is all about. All skill levels and experience are welcome. Participants will be divided by skill level upon arrival. No equipment is needed to get started.
