When these or other age-related conditions persist, they can lead to mental health conditions such as clinical depression and anxiety. The importance of mental health self-care is essential to reduce the potential risk factors associated with getting older and can make a significant difference in maintaining quality of life The impact of mental health issues often extend to family members, caregivers and countless others, as well This program will look at self-care approaches seniors can engage in to reduce stress, maintain a positive outlook, and minimize risks for potential behavioral health problems. The program will also address the type and range of resources available and ways to access support when needed. The format will be open. interactive, encourage the exchange of ideas and provide an opportunity to conduct a personal self-care assessment.
