  • Spring Little Racquets Youth Tennis Lessons

    Little Racquets Youth Tennis Lessons - Grades K -6 Beginners (Grades K-2) 25SYS701 Intermediate (Grades 2-5) 24SYS702 Advanced (Grades 3-6) 24SYS703 Location: PPLC Tennis Courts We will meet at your scheduled time at the PPLC tennis courts. Beginner Lesson: 12pm - 12:50pm Intermediate Lessons: 1pm - 1:50pm Advanced Lessons: 2pm - 2:50pm A few important notes: ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR ATTENDANCE BEFORE PLAY. We will have a member from the Orange Youth Sports office or a member of Little Racquets available at the beginning of each practice to take attendance. IF you will not be attending a session, please email or text Rona at (Ronab@littleracquets.com) (614-332-4890) to let her know so she can plan accordingly. Please be sure to bring lots of water, and make sure your child is wearing sneakers No racquets are required as the staff will have many different sizes available for the kids. Have Fun! .. Run Around!... Get some energy out!... See some friends!... Get better at Tennis!! :) Also, if the weather forecast is bad and we experience bad weather, and we do have to cancel practices, we will email everyone the day of your practice to let you know our plans. So check your email prior to practice, if the weather is bad. We will schedule make-up classes where available.

    Skill Development Programs OCER intends to provide opportunities for youth athletes to improve their skill level in their sports of choice through programming with professional coaches and vendors. When participating in these programs, participants should expect an outcome of; skill development and ability improvements throughout its duration. There should be no competitive expectation. Girls Lacrosse Clinic Coach Carolyn is returning this spring to build our strong girl's lacrosse program. We are seeking participants who want to learn and discover what the sport is all about. All skill levels and experience are welcome. Participants will be divided by skill level upon arrival. No equipment is needed to get started.

These leagues and teams are generally coached by parent volunteers with a focus on fair and equitable team participation. Athletes and parents can expect an atmosphere where everyone learns and everyone plays with moderate levels of competition. Baseball - Minors Grades 3 - 4 This is the first baseball experience with “player pitch” baseball, and it’s a great time to grow and improve your game! Games tentatively begin the week of May 19th against surrounding teams in nearby communities. The season will last from June to early July

Games will begin tentatively the week of May 20th against our partnering neighbor communities. Games will last until the early weeks of July.

    2025 Lions Cheerleading Summer Clinic! Get ready to join our Orange High School cheer team at the second annual Summer Cheer Clinic. Day One will be a fun practice and preparation clinic for sideline cheerleading, in anticipation for the All-Star football game in June. On day one participants will work on sideline spiriting and learning new cheers that will be performed on game day. On day two, the cheerleaders will cheer sideline during the first quarter of the game alongside OHS cheerleaders! Clinic will be Thursday June 5 from 5:00-7:00 Game performance will be Friday June 6 from 6:45-8:15 (time can change)

    Little Lions Baseball Clinic - Ages 3-4 This is a parent-and-child program that allows parents to help their baseball player learn the fundamentals of Baseball. The 4-week clinic will focus on the basic fundamentals of baseball, throwing, catching, running, and trying to swing a bat for the first time on a tee. Bring a youth glove to the first practice.     Orange Lions Volleyball League Grades 3-6 Led by youth coach Amanda and additional parent volunteer coaches, Join us for our new summer volleyball format for 3rd-6th graders to learn skills along with teammates in a new practice format that will enhance your games. Put your practice to the test in volleyball matches against nearby communities. This season the volleyball program will be led new volleyball coaches with experience leading youth programs.     Orange Rec Fall Soccer League Grades 1 - 5 This fall, kick off an unforgettable soccer season with our youth soccer league for kids in 1st through 6th grade! Whether your child is new to soccer or has been playing for years, our league is designed to provide a fun, supportive environment where every player can grow, improve, and develop a love for the game. Practice will take place on Thursday nights at Orange with the time TBD. Games will be played as a part of the Shaker Youth Soccer League, at Orange Soccer Fields in surrounding communities..   • Pee Wee Soccer Clinic & Leagues

    Pee Wee Soccer Clinic & Leagues Ages 3 - 6 For 3-4 & 5-6 year-old soccer players, sessions focus on fun, basic skill development, and light gameplay. The first 30 minutes are dedicated to fundamental skills like dribbling, passing, and shooting through playful drills and games, helping kids build coordination and confidence. The remaining 30 minutes involve light, small sided games where players can apply their skills in a relaxed, non-competitive environment. The goal is to foster teamwork, keep the players engaged, and ensure they enjoy the experience. Make sure to wear shin guards. No soccer on August 31st.
