  • Spring Flag Football Leagues

    Flag Football is for players entering the football space, and want to experience the fun and fast pace of the game in a recreation league setting. Jerseys are provided for each player through NFL Flag. Combine will take place on April 2nd, practices will begin on Tuesday's starting April 9th, and games will begin April 14th.

    Welcome to your newly formatted Spring Rec Soccer Season! Practices will be held on Thursday’s and will be led by volunteer coaches. Games will be played against neighboring communities on Saturdays.   • Beginners Spring Lacrosse Clinic

    Spring Lacrosse Clinics - Our Lacrosse clinics are back in the Spring of 2024. This is an opportunity for all of our new lacrosse players to give the sport a try. Only light equipment is required to get started, a stick and some gloves. This is the first step for many in your lacrosse journey. We hope that through a few practices your child falls in love with the game, can learn some basic rules, and begin to practice the fundamentals of scooping, throwing, cradling, and passing.     Girls Lacrosse Clinic We are excited to offer our girls spring Lacrosse Clinic for our up and coming girl athletes once again! The sport of Lacrosse is exploding, and we have a ton of interest in starting a new program here at the recreation level. Coming off the first season for the new Brady Middle School girls lacrosse team, we are looking forward to working with Coach Carolyn Hicks to run some clinics for our 4th-6th grade girls looking to get involved in lacrosse. Just bring a stick for your first practice. (We will have extras if you do not have one!)
  • Spring Little Racquets Youth Tennis Lessons

    Little Racquets Youth Tennis Lessons - Grades K -6 Beginners (Grades K-2) 24SYS710 Intermediate (Grades 2-5) 24SYS715 Advanced (Grades 3-6) 24SYS720 Beginners will receive instruction on proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys and serves along with the rules and etiquette that make tennis an exciting game. Intermediate & advanced participants will receive instruction that will build on the foundations they learned in earlier tennis lessons. A higher emphasis on rules and etiquette that make tennis an exciting game. Players should bring a racket and water. Location: PPLC Tennis Courts We will meet at your scheduled time at the PPLC tennis courts. Beginner Lesson: 12pm - 12:50pm Intermediate Lessons: 1pm - 1:50pm Advanced Lessons: 2pm - 2:50pm A few important notes: ALL PLAYERS MUST CHECK IN FOR ATTENDANCE BEFORE PLAY. We will have a member from the Orange Youth Sports office or a member of Little Racquets available at the beginning of each practice to take attendance. IF you will not be attending a session, please email or text Rona at (Ronab@littleracquets.com) (614-332-4890) to let her know so she can plan accordingly. Please be sure to bring lots of water, and make sure your child is wearing sneakers No racquets are required as the staff will have many different sizes available for the kids. Have Fun! .. Get better at Tennis!! :) Also, if the weather forecast is bad and we experience bad weather, and we do have to cancel practices, we will email everyone the day of your practice to let you know our plans.     Pee Wee Soccer Clinic & Leagues Ages 3 - 6 This program will give all soccer players a chance to learn how to play the sport of soccer with their friends through gameplay. Pee Wee Soccer Clinics and Leagues will be a combo class that have your star soccer players learning foot skills and kicking in the first half of the day (30min) and divided into teams for light-gameplay (30min) in the second half of the day.     Our Baseball programs are growing and rapidly expanding. Our first base for many baseball players and athletes here in the community is our Parent / Child Little Lions Clinic. We quickly swing in to league and gameplay as Kindergarteners with t-ball and coach pitch leagues. 3rd – 6th graders can participate in recreation-level baseball programs that see us join our neighboring communities along the way. Our travel baseball program continues to grow and expand and competes with the best teams in the area and has produced varsity athletes in our community. All programs, giving players at all ages and all skill levels, an opportunity to join us for some baseball each spring. More information for your program will be available upon registration. Baseball - Minors Grades 3 & 4 Baseball is ready for the first pitch again this season. For many this is the first experience with Player Pitch baseball, and it’s a great time to grow and improve your game! Games tentatively begin the week of May 20th against surrounding teams in nearby communities. The Season will last through June to early July. Coached by Volunteer Parents

Little Lions Baseball Clinic - This is a parent and child program that allows parents to help their baseball player learn the fundamentals of Baseball. The 6-week clinic will focus on the core fundamentals of baseball, throwing, catching, running, and trying to swing a bat for the first time on a tee. Bring a youth glove to the first practice.

Baseball - Boys Coach Pitch Grades 1 & 2 For young baseball players who are ready to take the next step in their baseball career. Coach pitch players should be able to throw the baseball, continue to improve catching, and be able to track pitches from a parent- pitcher. These games will be more competitive, to get the players up to real baseball speed. First weeks of practices will be group practices led by all coaches.     For young baseball and softball players who are ready to take the next step in the sport. T-ball players should be able to throw and swing a bat. We look forward to teaching the fundamentals of baseball/softball, like running bases, catching, throwing and counting outs in a game setting. New this season we will have a girls T-Ball league separate from the boys league, but will coincide with practices and games. Practices will begin on Saturdays, starting on May 11.   • Summer Youth Cheer Clinic

    NEW! Summer Youth Cheer Clinic This is a very special opportunity for our youth cheerleaders to cheer at the OHS Varsity Football All Star Game this summer. Cheerleaders will participate in a one day clinic to prepare for the big game, before cheering at the game on the following night. This will be coached by OHS Varsity Cheer coach Stacy Dorsey and her cheer staff. Clinic will take place on: Thursday June 6 from 4:30-6:00pm Game will take place on: Friday June 7 from 6:15-8:30pm

    Orange Tackle Football Grades 5 & 6 Orange Youth Tackle Football will be returning coming off an undefeated season and a Chagrin Valley Conference championship. The youth tackle football team competes in a 7 on 7 format that is designed to give players an opportunity to participate in the game from many different positions. In partnership, with the Cleveland Browns and the Chagrin Valley Conference, our goal is to teach the game is a safe and constructive football environment. The team will be coached by a parent volunteer coach, in partnership with the Orange High School varsity program. Equipment & Uniforms provided. Equipment pass out will begin the week of August 5th.
